Construction management is a specialized field that oversees all aspects of a construction project’s lifecycle, from Planning and Design to Construction and Maintenance, focusing on cost, time, and quality to ensure project success.

In Korea, the importance of construction management emerged in the 1990s, with the government’s introduction of construction project management systems. 

Recently, the scope has expanded beyond traditional management to include areas such as policy, economics, environment, safety, IT, and international construction.

At the Construction Innovation Lab, our goal is to build safe, eco-friendly, and advanced community infrastructure by responding to future construction demands through innovative management practices.

We focus on smart construction, facility maintenance, big data analysis, AI-driven decision-making, digital twins, and digital transformation in construction, alongside managing construction risks and exploring new market opportunities.
